Perseverance
Of those among mankind I most admire are such who’ve overcome the saddest grief, and men who’ve pulled themselves out of the mire after their lives had crashed upon the reef. A phoenix who has risen from the fire! A broken heart that’s brave beyond belief! These are men to whom my soul would aspire. No matter if of sinners they are chief.
It’s not how many times a man may fail but how many times that he will still assail the many untold pains, too foul to mention-- demons who seek to foil his best intention. Its heroes, such as these, who pierce life’s veil and by their perseverance shall prevail. Seldom adorned with medals of pretension I find these are the men of great invention.
