Londis Carpenter is a published poet and author. He began his writing career at age sixty, after friends and relatives asked him to put his stories and poems into written form. At 73 years old, Carpenter, a retired machinist and amateur entomologist, continues writing at his home in Michigan. His poems and stories have been read in Europe, Australia, Canada, the United States and parts of South America. His first novel, Justin Gage and the Coming of Karzz, is a witty, richly detailed fantasy that generations of young people will enjoy. His second book of poems, The Language of the Trees, was released in 2005 and was well received.
