The Healing Hand of Love
There is a vacancy of love in the world and it dwells in the absence of personal touch. The core of human need is personal love and starts from the time of inception to our death.
Studies have shown that if newborns are touched and caressed, their levels of growth hormone increase, and the protective coating of the motor nerves, myelin, becomes thicker. A mother’s loving urge to cuddle her baby translates directly into life-sustaining biochemical reactions. Babies deprived of loving caress can become emotionally and physically stunted or dysfunctional.
I suggest this does not stop in the early years of development and the need for loving caress is a requirement for emotional and physical health through your entire life.
Jesus healed many by his hands and it’s interesting that the word “hand” in the Greek Strong’s concordance means “power” (G5495). It is also interesting to note that the Latin word for hand is “manus” and also translates as “power”. There is no coincidence that the English word for hand means, “POWER”.
There are considerable greater powers we all have through our hands to both physically and emotionally heal using electrovibmagnetic energy that comes from the energy of love. Soon these discoveries will be realized and will forever change the world.
Even for the untrained, those in loving relationships know how important caressing touch is to a healthy marriage and for those with children the loving caressing touch of a parent heals all wounds.
I believe many of today’s mental and physical illnesses are due to the lack of the healing hand of love. Please dear friends take the time – hold tight your children and pray over them for love, peace and health, take the time on a daily basis to caress your spouse with your loving hands. Soon you will witness the healing power of loving touch and with time this power will grow beyond your dreams to heal both spiritually and physically.
(1Cor 13:3) TMSG - If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love.
God’s love heals all wounds, and with the gift he gave all of us – let’s start using our healing hands of love to restore the world.
