Dictums of Christendom
As searchers gaze through the glass darkly, smoke in their eyes, searching for the finesse, artfulness, and quality of things said by Jesus Christ….. searching for the very herbs of healing and love spoken from His mouth, a strange self-forfeit happens to some persons of a wandering heart.
The floriate of love, butterflies away; and in its place comes judgement on one another, because the Message is unintentionally distorted and confused by the off-beat heart rhythms of those searchers who syncopate unto themselves.
Jesus said: “No greater love has any man than to lay down one’s life for a friend” (John 15:13 KJV paraphrased). This love is not limited to a wife, husband, family, or nation of descent, but extends to even a friend. What a true friendship that is – the true love and real stuff of a genuine friend.
Let not this true flowing of the beauty of love ever be bound by beguiled orchestrations of self-syncopated persons. Let not deceivers ever convince the innocent that Christ’s sacred love is beyond their hearts. When tears are cried and lost loves lie bleeding, the love of Jesus, yearning, will go out searching over the mountains, through the valleys and plains, and to every corner of the world, ground, sea, and sky.
Relentless and unabated matters at hand often draw away from the vital essense of the holy kissed words of Jesus Christ because the broad road paved with good intentions cannot narrow to the mark of the high calling. But no action can ever remove the embedded love of Christ that lives even in the very air one breathes.
Unscroll the sweet peace, lullaby Words of Jesus, that I may rock-cuddle those darling, good thoughts forever! “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27 KJV).
There is a love tree in me that grows taller and more blooming every time I read the love words of Jesus Christ. Here are a few more of those precious love words of Jesus: “He that is greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matthew 23:11 KJV). That’s love? Yes, that is great love; for only great love will walk of heart with you when you are sick; only great love will stand by you when you are rejected, in despair, and forsaken of others; only great love will deem you as golden when as yet the mire has not been washed away and your value has not been recognized by the world. Only great love would lay down its style of life so as to send you a “Comforter to be with you until the end of the world” (John 14:16 KJV paraphrased). Only great love would invent such a miracle as Eternal Grace to cover you from penalties for all your mistakes and errors.
When God joins two persons of belonging love, no traffic of dark, no spin of worlds, no roads winding have the power to indent or steal away their peace and love.
